At the Surface event held recently, Microsoft announced two new laptops, the Surface Laptop Go 3 and Surface Go 4. These are 2-in-1 portable laptops. In addition to this, Microsoft even announced the Surface Laptop Studio 2 which comes inbuilt with an Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card.
Microsoft’s Surface 2023 event just wrapped up yesterday. During the event, the tech giant announced various devices that will soon make it to the markets. This includes two new Surface laptops, i.e. the Surface Laptop Go 3 and Surface Go 4. In addition to this, the company even showed us the Surface Laptop Studio 2 which packs Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics card. Looks like we have a lot of catching up to do, read along.
I’ll take you through the specifications, prices, and availability of the two Surface laptops.
First up, let’s talk about the specs. The Surface Laptop Go 3 will pack the 12th-Gen Alder Lake mobile architecture, which is more modern. This makes the laptop a good choice if you’re looking for efficiency and multi-tasking at the same time. The Surface Laptop 3 will run on the Intel Core i5-1235U that comes with a 10 cores and 12 threads configuration.

The laptop further features a 12.4-inch PixelSense touchscreen display and offers a peak brightness of 320 nits. Plus, the touchscreen is even compatible with the Surface Slim Pen. On the sound front, we get an Omnisonic speaker design. This supports Dolby Atmos Premium. The laptop comes with a USB Type-C 3.2 port, a USB-A 3.1 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and the Surface Connect port.
Microsoft promises a battery life of up to 11 hours on the Surface Laptop Go 3 and its weight starts at just 544 grams.
It is available in Sage, Ice Blue, Sandstone, and Platinum variants.
Next, let’s talk about the Surface Go 4 now. The laptop features a 10.5-inch touchscreen, with a resolution of 1920 x 1280. It reaches a maximum brightness of 350 nits and also supports the Microsoft Surface Pen. The Surface Go 4 packs an Intel N200 Processor with Intel UHD Graphics. It also sports a 1080p lens in the front and a 720p lens in the rear.

You can purchase this laptop in both WiFi and LTE Variants. Microsoft promises a battery life of up to 12.5 hours with this device. Further, you can get this in an 8GB LPDDR5 RAM configuration, with up to 256GB SSD variant.
With this laptop, you get a USB-C 3.1 port, DisplayPort, charging, a MicroSD card reader, a 3.5mm AUX jack, a Surface Type Cover port to plug in the keyboard, and a Surface Connect port.
As far as the prices and availability are concerned, the Surface Laptop Go 3 starts at $799 in the US. We still have to wait for the Indian prices. As far as the Surface Go 4 is concerned, we are still waiting for its prices.
