Microsoft to unveil its next generation of Windows on June 24 – Times of India
NEW DELHI: Tech giant Microsoft recently held its annual developer conference, where the company CEO Staya Nadella teased the upcoming big announcement during his keynote.
During the keynote Nadella said, “Soon we will share one of the most significant updates to Windows of the past decade to unlock greater economic opportunity for developers and creators. I’ve been self-hosting it over the past several months, and I’m incredibly excited about the next generation of Windows.”
Now, the company has started sending out invites for the ‘next generation of Windows’ event later this month. Microsoft has scheduled the Windows event for June 24. The virtual event will take place at 11 am EST (8.30 pm IST) on June 24. You can also watch the livestream of the event on the company’s official website.
The Windows event will be presented by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and chief product officer Panos Panay.
Nadella has also promised that the new Windows will create more opportunities for every Windows developer today and welcome every creator who is looking for the most innovative, new, open platform to build and distribute and monetize applications.
As reported by The Verge, the company is expected to reveal the new and important changes coming to Windows. It is also said that the new changes will include various visual enhancements. Microsoft is also expected to unveil the new Windows logo at the event. The software giant is also expected to showcase some significant UI changes to Windows.
Recently, Microsoft confirmed that it will no longer ship Windows 10X, its OS built for dual-screen. The company also said that it will bring the best features of the OS to the main version of Windows 10.
