Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One Gets Official Trailer and Poster

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is coming to theaters this July, and we’ve got an action-packed new trailer and star-studded poster to celebrate the countdown to Ethan Hunt’s next mission.

The adrenaline-fuelled footage teases the IMF team’s most dangerous mission yet, with the fate of the world at stake. There’s everything from horse pursuits, train fights, car chases, and even a motorbike jumping off a cliff (apparently Tom Cruise’s most dangerous stunt to date).

“Our lives are the sum of our choices and we cannot escape the past. Ethan, this mission of yours is gonna cost you dearly,” Henry Czerny’s Eugene Kittridge warns Hunt at the very start of the trailer.

What follows is a quick-fire glimpse at some of the most intense action sequences and death-defying stunts that the seventh entry in the blockbuster franchise has to offer. This footage follows a 20-minute clip from CinemaCon in April, showing Hunt’s wild ride through Rome.

Alongside the trailer, Paramount Pictures shared a star-studded poster for the upcoming sequel spotlighting several members of its ensemble cast, including Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Rebecca Ferguson, Esai Morales, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Vanessa Kirby.

There is a lot of hype building for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, as the two-part movie will reportedly serve as a send-off for Cruise’s Ethan Hunt. Dead Reckoning Part One will hit theaters on July 12, 2023, with Part Two expected to follow a year later, on June 28, 2024.
