MIUI 13 global pilot testing starts for Redmi Note 10, Note 10 Pro, and Mi 11 Lite | 91mobiles.com
The Redmi Note 10 has a codename Mojito and V13.0.3.0.SKGMIXM MIUI 13 firmware build number. While the Redmi Note 10 Pro/ Pro Max has the codename ‘sweet’ and firmware version V13.0.2.0.SKFMIXM. Lastly, the Mi 11 Lite comes with the codename ‘Courbet’ and version number V13.0.2.0.SKQMIXM. These are global versions of MIUI 13 and are based on Android 12 OS. We can speculate more devices to join the list pretty soon.
Xiaomi is rolling out these under test pilot and a stable version will be released after the testing is done, probably around next month or in March. The company hasn’t mentioned when the test builds will be available in India or will the global versions will work locally as well.
MIUI 13 was originally unveiled back in December in China. The new custom skin doesn’t bring any significant improvements over the MIUI 12.5 enhanced version but is claimed to offer a 52 percent improvement in overall fluidity. It focuses on optimising computing capabilities for core apps during heavy load. For the first time, Xiaomi is breaking the custom skin into multiple categories: MIUI 13, MIUI 13 Pad, and MIUI 13 Fold. This means the OS is optimised for smartphones, tablets, and foldables.
