Mobile Shooter Game Battle Stars Adds Cricket World Cup-Inspired Skins
Battle Stars, the mobile shooter game from SuperGaming, now has Cricket World Cup-inspired skins so that players can don them to support their nation during the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. The new update also comes with a new game mode along with a new map for players to enjoy, among other updates.
Battle Stars gets ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023-related skins
SuperGaming has added four new skins to the game, specific to the in-game characters. Techno, which is inspired by the Indian YouTuber Techno Gamerz, has received a new jersey that represents Team India. Zak is donning South African skin, whereas Lord Musk is wearing England’s colours. Battle Stars has also added an Australian skin for Razor.
Other updates to the game
TDM Rumble Mode will now offer a new “Pro” control scheme for Battle Stars players with an updated version od the Rumble map. The ‘Pro’ control scheme lets players choose manual aiming, and offers improved joystick touch input.
There is also a new map in Battle Stars now called ‘Mumbai vs Delhi’. SuperGaming says that they have “put together the best of Mumbai and Delhi in a single map complete with a makeover.” Grenades are now available in Battle Stars to add a new dimension to the shooter gameplay.
Battle Stars Season 2 Details
Battle Stars Season 2 recently ended and the game maker has shared some interesting numbers around the game. Gamers have played nearly 20 million matches during the season along with over 41 million kills. Finally, the top player on the Battle Stars Season 2 leaderboard has played 5,662 matches, as per SuperGaming.
