Moto G53, Moto G73 5G India launch imminent; appear on BIS, FCC and TDRA certifications

The Moto G53 5G has been spotted on UAE’s TDRA website with the model number XT2335-2. Additionally, the handset has also appeared on the American FCC and Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) certifications. Rumours suggest the international variant might be different compared to its Chinese counterpart. Additionally, the Moto G73 5G with the model number XT2337-2 has appeared on the TDRA website. These certifications reveal the marketing names of the phone for the first time officially.

The FCC listing suggests the Moto G53 5G global variant comes with a 5,000mAh battery and will support 10W charging, much like the Chinese counterpart. That’s pretty much everything that is revealed about the phones through the listing. However, the Moto G53 5G specifications have been tipped recently.

The Moto G53 5G is tipped to come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. The global model is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen1 SoC paired with Adreno GPU. The handset is likely to boot Android 13 out of the box and pack a 5,000mAh battery.

The global variant of the Moto G53 5G is said to ship with a triple-rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary lens and a 2MP auxiliary sensor. The phone is tipped to get a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
