moto: Moto edge X30 with an under-screen camera to launch on December 9 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Motorola is all set to unveil its flagship smartphone — Moto edge X30 this month. The smartphone maker has already confirmed that it will launch the Moto edge X30 on December 9 in China. Motorola has also confirmed that its upcoming flagship smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor. Along with this, the Lenovo China GM Chen Jin also teased a special edition of the smartphone which will house an under-screen camera.
The company also shared an invite on Weibo, which consists of gold and silver cards. The cards are said to represent the Moto edge X30 and the Moto edge S30 smartphones. Rumours suggest that the Moto edge S30 is said to come with a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with 144Hz refresh rate.
Apart from the invite, Jin also shared some of the low-light front camera samples captured using the Moto edge X30. Jin added that the 50MP dual selfie camera of the smartphone is capable of taking effective low light photos. The selfie camera on the upcoming Motorola smartphone can capture ultra-high-pixel beauty selfies and selfie portraits.
In addition to the above-mentioned information, Jin also said that the Moto edge X30 will come with Corning Gorilla Glass protection on both sides. The smartphone will also come with some new features and functions.
Meanwhile, Motorola is all set to launch a new G-series smartphone in India. The company has confirmed the launch of Moto g51 in the country on December 10.
The Moto g51 comes with an FHD+ display and is powered by a Qualcomm processor. The smartphone is the first to be powered by the Snapdragon 480+ processor. The handset houses a 5000mAh battery and runs the Android 11 operating system. Motorola launched the Moto g51 last month in November. The company is expected to launch the same variant in India as well.
