Moto Razr 40 and Moto Razr 40 Ultra launched in India at ₹54,999 onwards

Motorola finally took the wraps off its latest foldable phones in India – Moto Razr 40 and Moto Razr 40 Ultra. Both the smartphones are premium offerings and come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. The duo come with 6.9-inch FlexView FHD+ main screen with a resolution of  2640×1080 pixels. While the Razr 40 features a 1.47-inch external display, the Ultra is equipped with a 3.6-inch screen with 144Hz refresh rate. Offers and availability

The Moto Razr 40 Ultra comes in Phantom Black and Viva Magenta colour variants. It will be available from Amazon, motorola.com and Reliance Digital offline from July 15. While the Moto Razr 40 is offered in Sage Green, Summer Lilac and Vanilla Cream colors. Launch offers include up to 15,000 benefits for Jio customers along with 7000 off (Razr 40 Ultra) and 5000 off (Razr 40) with ICICI bank cards. The handsets can be pre booked starting today at 9,999.

Moto Razr 40 Price and features

The Moto Razr 40 is powered by 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor with Adreno 644 GPU. It is priced at 54,999 for the single 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage model. The handset runs on Android 13 and boasts of a large 6.9-inch FlexView FHD+ pOLED display with a resolution of 2640×1080 pixels, and 144Hz refresh rate. 

It is a 10-bit HDR 10+ one with up to 1400 nits brightness. When folded, the handset features a 1.47-inch QuickView AMOLED external display with 194×368 pixels resolution. The external screen has a refresh rate of 60Hz, p to 1000 nits brightness and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

To perform camera duties, Moto Razr 40 boasts of a 64MP main camera with 1.7 aperture and OIS. It is paired with a 13MP ultra-wide camera with macro option. For selfies and video calls, the device is equipped with a 32MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture.

Moto Razr 40 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and offers USB Type-C audio, 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz) MIMO and Bluetooth 5.3 as connectivity features. The device is backed by a 4,200mAh battery and comes with 33watt TurboPower fast charging along with 5W wireless charging. The handset also has IP52 rating and is dust and splash resistant.

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra Price and features

Motorola Razr 40 Ultra comes with a price tag of 84,999. It packs 8GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. There is a 6.9-inch FlexView FHD+ pOLED LTPO display with a variable refresh rate of 1-165Hz refresh rate, 10-bit HDR 10+, 123% DCI-P3 color gamut and up to 1400 nits peak brightness.

The handset has a 3.6-inch QuickView pOLED display featuring 144Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, up to 1100 nits brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Moto razr 40 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4nm with Adreno 730 GPU and runs Android 13.

There is a dual camera setup comprising of a 12MP main camera with f/1.5 aperture, OIS, and 13MP ultra-wide autofocus camera with 2.5cm macro option and f/2.2 aperture. The handset is equipped with a 32MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture.

USB Type-C Audio, Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and side-mounted fingerprint scanner are some of the features on Moto Razr 40 Ultra. It also comes with IP52 rating and houses a 3,800mAh battery with 33W TurboPower fast charging and 5W wireless charging.
