Moto Razr 40 Ultra will have largest foldable screen on any smartphone, leaks suggest | Digit
With competitors like Samsung, Oppo, Google, Tecno bringing in foldable phones, now Motorola is all set to launch its foldable phone. The rumoured name of the device according to previous leaks is Moto Razr 40 Ultra and it will be launched later this year. With the Razr 40 Ultra there will also be a cheaper version, Moto Razr 40.
So, recently there were some more leaks and tips which shows the exclusive picture of the Moto Razr 40 Ultra and gives detail about its designs and colour options. Tipster Evan Blass made these leaks and uploaded what looked to be the official images of the Moto foldable phone.
Now let’s have a look at the design, colour variants and features of the Moto Razr 40 Ultra.
Moto Razr 40 Ultra Design
The Motorola Razr Ultra sports an interesting, attractive looking exterior, at least in the images leaked so far. The Razr 40 Ultra has a huge display and the tips claim that it’s the biggest display compared to any clamshell style foldable phone yet. It’s not confirmed, but the other display is rumoured to be around 3.4-3.6 inches in width.
The corners of the foldable’s exterior has cutouts for dual-camera setup and flash. When you unfold it, you’ll see a punch-hole cutout right at the centre and on the top. There are bezels around the screen and they are all narrow. A few antenna lines are visible on the curved frame which suggests that metal has been used. The lower edge has a USB C-type port cutout, and one of the visible microphones.

The leaked images suggest that the Razr 40 Ultra will have three colour options: Barberry, Black and Blue.
Motorola Razr 40 Ultra Specifications
The foldable Motorola phone will come with an AMOLED display accompanied by 130 Hz refresh rate. Leaks also suggest that the display might also support 144Hz or 165Hz refresh rate. Its Geekbench listing suggests a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The phone should come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Talking about battery, the foldable should be packed with a 3,640mAh battery along with 33W fast charging support.
Moving on to the camera, this smartphone will flaunt a dual lensed rear camera, with a 12MP main Sony IMX563 sensor and 13MP SK Hynix Hi1336 ultra-wide sensor. Talking about the front camera there will be a 32MP sensor. Last but not the least the phone will be supported by Android 13.
