Moto updates budget-friendly G series with four new phones: Price, availability and specs – Times of India

Lenovo-owned smartphone maker Motorola has expanded its portfolio with four new phones under the affordable Moto G-series for the global markets. The latest smartphones include — Moto G73 5G, Moto G53 5G, Moto G23 and Moto G13. Amongst these, the company launched the Moto G53 smartphone in China in December 2022. However, the global variant arrives with a slight change in the camera specification. All four smartphones will run the latest Android 13 OS out-of-the-box. The Moto G23 and Moto G13 are budget-friendly options while the Moto G73 5G and Moto G53 5G are mid-range phones. Here we have shared all the details about the four G-series smartphone:
Moto G-series new phones: Price and availability
According to a report by FoneArena, Motorola is expected to launch these smartphones in Europe first. The company may later start shipping these phones to select markets in Latin America and Asia. Only the Moto G23 smartphone will be available in two different RAM variants. The remaining models will all have a single RAM and storage variant.
Moto G73 is likely to be available in Lucent White and Midnight Blue colours and will be priced at 300 euros (nearly Rs 26,700). Meanwhile, the Moto G53 is expected to be available in three colours — Ink Blue, Arctic Silver and Pale Pink and may carry a price tag of 250 Euros (nearly Rs 22,300)

On the other hand, the 4GB variant of the Moto G23 smartphone is rumoured to start at 230 euros (nearly Rs 20,500) and may ship in Matte Charcoal, Pearl White and Steel Blue colours. Apart from this, the Moto G13 smartphone is expected to arrive in Matte Charcoal, Rose Gold and Blue Lavender colours and is likely to be priced at 180 euros (nearly Rs 16,000)

Moto G73 is said to sport a 120Hz 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen and may come powered by the Dimensity 930 chipset backed with IMG BXM-8-256 graphics unit, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage (which is expandable up to 1TB). The smartphone may house a 50MP main camera and an 8MP 118° ultra-wide angle lens along with a 16MP selfie unit. Moto G73 may have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and may pack a 5000mAh battery unit that will support 30W fast charging.
Moto Moto G53: Key specs
This smartphone also features a 120Hz 6.5-inch LCD panel that supports HD+ resolution. Moto G53 is powered by a Snapdragon 480+ SoC coupled with Adreno 619 GPU, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. This phone also has a similar camera setup as the Moto G73 and even packs a 5000mAh battery unit that will support 10W charging.
Moto Moto G23: Key specs
Moto G23 has a 90Hz refresh rate screen and its remaining display specs are similar to the Moto G53. The smartphone is powered by the Helio G85 chip which is paired with Arm Mali-G52 2EEMC2 graphics unit, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage (expandable up to 512GB). This smartphone also has the same rear and front camera setup and supports 30W charging.
Moto Moto G13: Key specs
Lastly, the Moto G13 also has the same screen as the Moto G23 and even runs on the same chipset. This smartphone has a triple rear camera setup that includes — a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro unit. Moto G13 has an 8MP selfie camera and supports 10W charging.
