Motorola Edge 30 Ultra with 200MP camera, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip launched: All details – Times of India
Motorola was the first smartphone brand to get on board with Samsung’s new 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor with its X30 Pro smartphone launched in China last month. The company has now announced a slightly tweaked version of the X30 Pro in Europe as Motorola Edge 30 Ultra featuring 200MP primary camera. Alongside this, the company has also launched Edge 30 Neo and Edge 30 Fusion.
Motorola’s Edge 30 Ultra features 200MP primary sensor
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra comes with the same 200MP ISOCELL HP1 sensor which is a 1/1.22-inch sensor that returns 12.5MP with 16-in-1 pixel binning and 2.56µm pixel size, 50MP shots with 4-in-1 pixel binning and full resolution 200MP shots as well. The sensor has an f/1.9 aperture and it supports Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS).
Apart from that, the smartphone also comes with a 50MP ultrawide sensor with f/2.2 aperture with 114-degree field-of-view and a 12MP Portrait lens with 2X zoom.
The smartphone can shoot up to 8K resolution videos at 30fps, 4K videos at 60/30fps and FHD videos at 60/30 fps. Apart from that, the phone also supports 4K HDR10+ videos at 30fps and FHD slow motion videos at up to 960fps.
At the front, the Edge 30 Ultra boasts a 60MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 0.61µm pixel size and Quad Pixel Technology for 1.22 µm.

Motorola has priced the Edge 30 Ultra at a starting price of €900 (approximately Rs 72,153) for the base 128GB variant and is now available for purchase in two colour options — Interstellar Black and Starlight White.
Motorola has not yet confirmed anything about launching the smartphone in other regions. However, we expect it to arrive soon in other regions as well.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra features a 6.67-inch Endless Edge pOLED Display with FHD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The display also supports HDR10+, 10-bit colour gamut and has 1250 nits of peak brightness.
The handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB storage.
The smartphone runs the Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box. It is backed by a 4610mAh battery which supports 125W TurboPower wired fast charging. The handset also supports 50W fast wireless charging. The company claims that the 125W fast charger can provide 12 hours of usage in just 7 minutes of charge. It also supports 10W wireless power sharing.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra comes with a dual stereo speaker setup backed by Dolby Atmos and features a linear X-axis vibration motor.
