Motorola Edge 40 Neo in the Works; Specs & Pricing Leaks Online
After debuting the Moto Edge 40 and Edge 40 Pro, Motorola is gearing up for yet another model in the series. Aptly named Motorola Edge 40 Neo (or Edge 40 Lite in some markets), the phone is a direct successor to last year’s Edge 30 Neo and joins the ranks of the Edge 40 series with seemingly upgrade specifications up its sleeves.
Motorola Edge 40 Neo Specifications Leaked
Motorola Edge 40 Neo is expected to bring along a larger 6.55” FHD+ pOLED panel onboard with a high refresh rate of 144Hz. The device will have IP68 protection as well preventing the water and dust from seeping in up the ingress standards. The Motorola Italy listing also shows a Dimensity 1050 under the hood powering the device to tackle any and every task it gets. It is paired with 12GB+256GB of storage config although that might not be the only config available.
Edge 40 Neo packs in Android 13 flavored MyUX handling its software end. A beefy 5,000mAh battery powers the device to hurtle through the day and beyond based on how you use it. It’s possibly paired with a uber-fast speed 68W charging tech taking just a few minutes to charge the monstrosity of the battery.
On the optics end, we have a 50MP primary plus 13MP rear camera setup although it’s not an ultrawide shooter. We have a 32MP selfie shooter taking the helm at the front as well.
Finally, the phone as it’s leaked, is priced at EUR399 although we aren’t certain about the price point at the time of writing this. Additionally, the phone is expected to be released on September 15 in Italy signaling its availability in Europe. Perhaps, the ‘Lite’ moniker will be added for its availability elsewhere.
