Motorola Frontier 22 with 194MP camera and 125W charging tipped to launch soon | 91mobiles.com

Tipster Abhishek Yadav shared the image of Motorola’s 125W power adapter, which is expected to debut with the Frontier 2022. Chen Jin, CEO of Lenovo Group, China, originally shared the image. Yadav further reiterated the specifications of the upcoming Motorola Frontier 22, adding that the smartphone will be launching soon.

Motorola is not the only smartphone brand working on 100W+ charging technology. Smartphone brands such as OPPO, OnePlus and Realme have already announced their plans to introduce 150W charging support with upcoming smartphones. In fact, Realme’s recently announced GT Neo3 comes with support for 150W charging.

Motorola Frontier 22 specifications (rumoured)

Motorola Frontier 22 is rumoured to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and HDR 10+ support. The display will be curved around the edges, and it will have a centred punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Further, the smartphone is expected to have an under-display fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the Frontier 22 would come with an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The smartphone is said to run MyUX on top of Android 12. It would come with a 4,500mAh battery, supporting 125W wired charging and 30W or 50W wireless charging support.

The optics are rumoured to be handled by a 194MP sensor at the back coupled with a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP telephoto camera. It will have a 60MP selfie camera housed inside the punch-hole cutout on the front.
