Motorola G84 5G details are out: It looks exactly like its predecessor | Digit

Motorola recently announced the G84 5G and the launch date of the smartphone in India. The smartphone will debut in the country on September 1. A microsite on Flipkart has revealed a bunch of specifications of Moto G84 5G. But ahead of the launch, rumours have completed what’s remaining, suggesting price segment, launch date, and availability of the smartphone. Let’s have a look at them. 

A known tipster, Yogesh Brar, has taken this up to X (formerly Twitter). He added the Moto G84 5G could be launched in India with a price segment between ₹22,000 to ₹24,000. It could be true because the launch price of its predecessor, Moto G82 5G, was ₹21,4999 and it was launched last year.

The smartphone will be available for purchase on Flipkart as we can the e-commerce platform already promoting the Moto G84 5G. Motorola tweeted a Flipkart link with the caption, ‘coming soon’.  After clicking on the link, the launch date of Moto G84 5G was revealed, September 1, which I mentioned previously. 

On the microsite, Flipkart has revealed that the Moto G84 5G is going to feature a 6.55-inch pOLED display with a support of up to 120Hz refresh rate. The display is also promised to give 1300 nits of output on peak brightness. It will run on Google on Android 13 operating system and also 

About the performance, it is also confirmed that Moto G84 5G will be backed up by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor which will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. A 5000mAh battery will power the Moto G84 5G and also come with 30-watt fast charging support. 

For photography, you will get a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel OIS primary camera, an 8-megapixel Macro sensor for close up shots and a depth sensor. 

The microsite also revealed some more details like the Moto G84 5G will come with a vegan leather finish on the back, and could launch in three colour options; Midnight Blue, Marshmallow Blue, and Viva Magenta.

The Moto G82 5G also shares almost the same specifications with the G84 5G. The only difference I can notice is that the G84 5G will have a pOLED and the G82 5G has AMOLED, which is not a very big difference. If the company rolls out the Moto G84 5G at increased prices, then in my opinion, you must buy Moto G82 5G instead.
