MS Dhoni celebrated his 42nd birthday on Friday and wishes poured in from across the world for the legendary cricketer. While many wished MS Dhoni and even celebrated his birthday in their own style, Mahi kept the event low-key and shared a glimpse of how he celebrated his birthday with some cute dogs.
“Thanks a lot for all your warm wishes, a glimpse of what I did on my birthday,” MS Dhoni said on his Instagram while sharing a video with dogs.
In the video, MS Dhoni can be seen cutting a small cake and feeding it to the dogs who seem very excited around Mahi. In less than 30 minutes, the video broke the internet and accumulated over one million reactions.
MS Dhoni and his magical career
MS Dhoni is one of the world’s best cricketers and is known as someone who knows how to play under difficult conditions. While the player took retirement from international cricket in 2020, MS Dhoni continues to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and recently led his team Chennai Super Kings to their fifth IPL title.
He is the only Team India skipper under whose command the team won all ICC trophies- the 2007 T20 World Cup, 2011 ODI World Cup, and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. MS Dhoni-led Team India is 200 ODI matches out of which India won 110.

Over the course of 350 ODIs, he amassed an impressive total of 10,773 runs, maintaining an impressive average of 50.57. During his career, he recorded an impressive tally of 10 centuries and 73 half-centuries while representing India. His highest individual score of an unbeaten 183 stands as a testament to his exceptional batting skills in this format. MS Dhoni is the 11th most successful ODI batter of all time.
