BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Mid-South Conference announced Appalachian Division Football Players of the Week, as released by conference officials Monday. Pioneer College Caterers are the proud sponsor of the Mid-South Conference Football Players of the Week award program. MSC Appalachian Offensive Player of the Week
Isaiah Wright – Union (Ky.) – Jr. – RB – Harriman, Tenn.
- Wright rushed 33 times for 251 yards and three touchdowns in a victory at Campbellsville (Ky.).
- His performance marks the second-best single-game rushing performance in school history.
- The junior scored on TD runs of one, three and nine yards, including two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to put the game away.
- He earns MSC weekly honors for the first time in his career.
MSC Appalachian Defensive Player of the Week
Teon Burroughs – Reinhardt (Ga.) – Sr. – DL – Folkston, Ga.
- Burroughs led the Eagles’ defensive front against 20th-ranked FCS Kennesaw State (Ga.).
- The All-American collected 11 total tackles – five in the first half and six in the final two quarters.
- He collects the third MSC weekly honor of his career.
MSC Appalachian Special Teams Player of the Week
Caden Davis – Faulkner (Ala.) – So. – K – Pearl, Miss.
- Davis averaged 40.0 yards on four punts against Southeastern (Fla.).
- The sophomore posted two fair catches and limited SEU to just nine return yards in the contest.
- This marks the first career MSC weekly honor for Davis.
