MSI intros new laptops with Intel 11th gen Tiger Lake-H CPU – Smartprix
MSI has pulled back the curtain off its gaming and creator line of laptops. The new machines feature the recently out Intel 11th gen Tiger Lake-H range of processors. Besides the new CPU, these lug around up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU and boasts an overall performance improvement of up to 30%. Other upgrades in the mix are PCIe Gen 4, Wi-Fi 6E, and Thunderbolt 4 support.
We had heard of some of these products closely following Intel’s chip announcement. Anyway now we have the complete roster in front of us.
Let’s start with the Creator lineup —
MSI Creator Z16
Creator Z16 weighs just 2.2 Kgs and is thick under 16mm. It is made of CNC-milled aluminum and flaunts Lunar Gray color. Upfront, there is a 16:10 display with QHD+ resolution and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

Inside it packs the Tiger-Lake H processor with Nvidia RTX 3060 GPU, MSI’s exclusive Cooler Boost Trinity+ cooling solution, and WiFi 6E, among other things.
MSI Creator 17 and Creator M16
The key highlight of the Creator 17 is its Mini LED display that’s 16-inches in size with a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 500 nits brightness. Meanwhile the M16 sports a QHD+ True Pixel screen.
Then comes the gaming machines —
MSI Katana/Sword GF & Pulse GL
These are entry level crop of laptops designed by Japanese illustrator Tsuyoshi Nagano. A tier above them comes the Pulse GL.
MSI GE Raider, GP Leopard and GS Stealth
The top dog of the pack is GE76 Raider with the latest Intel processor, RTX 3080 GPU, and up to a 165W TGP. It has got a full RGB programmable light bar on the front

MSI has also introed a revamped inner cooling design comprising 2 fans and 6 internal heat pipes (with 33% thinner pipe walls), together capable of better airflow, lower core temperature at peak performance.
