MWC 2022 or Mobile World Congress is a yearly expo where exhibitors from one side of the planet to the other meet up and introduce their recently concocted innovation in the smartphone circle of the business. Realme
Realme was planning to release a new series of flagship smartphones and they have managed to pull that off on the first day of MWC 22. Realme announced the Realme GT2 series of smartphones that consists of two variants, Realme GT2 and Realme GT2 Pro. Both of these smartphones will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It has also released the new 150W fast charger which is advertised to provide 50% of charge within 5 minutes of charging.
Honor
Honor had plans to extend from the Chinese smartphone market to the global smartphone market and this move has been made possible through the release of their new flagship smartphone, the Magic 4 Pro. The new smartphone will also sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and an all-new camera lens system that has been hyped to the max as it has been dubbed as the ‘Eye of the Muse’ by the company.
Poco
Many of the people were expecting an all new Xiaomi flagship from the company, but instead they were greeted by two new budget friendly smartphones, the Poco X4 Pro 5G and the Poco M4 Pro during the MWC 22 Barcelona event.
Qualcomm
As it was the key supplier of chipsets for most of the smartphones that were announced on the first day of MWC 22, the company was provided with free publicity for their Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Qualcomm also had a few new announcements to share during the event such as the Snapdragon X70 modem and the FastConnect 7900 wireless controller. Qualcomm also mentioned a bit about the new moves they were making in the AR/XR field.
