Following a cancellation in 2020 and a scaled-down event in 2021, we had a full-fledged show in 2022. MWC 2023 is also approaching, and we again anticipate a full-fledged event. OnePlus at MWC 2023
OnePlus confirmed it will be on stand at MWC, despite launching its newest flagship phones OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 11R. The company also announced its trailblazer into Android tablet, the OnePlus Tab, alongside its latest premium smartphones. That doesn’t mean the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has nothing on cards for the event. It reserved a concept device for the MWC 2023 event.
OnePlus showcases its engineering capabilities with concept smartphones with bizarre designs. This time, the company will unveil its OnePlus 11 Concept phone with a “flowing back” design and an even larger camera module than the standard 11.
OPPO at MWC 2023
OPPO recently launched its Find N2 Flip ahead of MWC 2023, so we aren’t expecting any foldable action from the company anytime soon. Last year, OPPO launched its Find X5 Pro days before MWC 2022, and it could launch the OPPO Find X6 series — or Find X7 if six is a not-so-luck number — at around the same time this year. Rumours suggest the SuperVOOC 240W charing could finally see the light of day since the company has already demonstrated its capability last year. The company, however, confirmed in a press release that it will showcase the new generation of Assisted Reality smart glasses, OPPO Air Glass 2, at the event.
Realme at MWC 2023
Realme has stated that the much-anticipated Realme GT 3 smartphone will get an introduction at MWC 2023. The company has even displayed the Realme GT 3’s design, revealing a rebranded Realme GT Neo 5 unveiled in China last week. According to Realme, the GT 3 smartphone will have the quickest charging system in the world, with a stunning 240W.
Apple at MWC 2023
The Cupertino giant doesn’t engage at MWC, so don’t expect any Apple product to launch at the event. However, it could likely set a date for its next event during the show, but, of course, it’s no guarantee that it would happen. Perhaps the WWDC 2023 event later in June is when we will see Apple unveil new devices.

While the Lenovo-owned Motorola isn’t on the exhibitor list, Lenovo will announce some laptops and other goodies at the MWC, which suggests that Motorola might show up at the event. Pherabs, the ThinkPhone will finally get a proper introduction with pricing and availability details. However, we don’t expect the recently leaked Motorola Razr 2023 to see the light of day at the MWC 2023.
Xiaomi at MWC 2023
Xiaomi likes to play the waiting game with its flagship line of phones. First, the company launches its premium devices in its home market and later relaunches the smartphones at, you guessed it, MWC. The Xiaomi 13 Pro will likely follow this interesting launch cycle and make its appearance at MWC 2023.
Nothing at MWC 2023
It’s unlikely that Nothing will launch anything at MWC 2023, but that won’t stop the young startup from taking the stage. The London-based startup is hot on heels these days with launching the Nothing Ear strick, bringing stable Android 13-based NothingOS 1.5 to the Phone (1), and with the Nothing Phone (2) in the pipeline while expanding even broader territory into the US market.
HONOR at MWC 2023
Last year, HONOR announced the Magic 4 series at MWC 2022. This year, the company will launch HONOR Magic 5 series and HONOR Magic Vs at Mobile World Congress 2023. The latter is a foldable smartphone that competes against the likes of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 in the company’s home market. We’ll have to wait until the event to learn about the device’s availability.
HUAWEI at MWC 2023
Although we didn’t see much from the company during MWC 2022, HUAWEI’s official website has an invitation page live for the public for MWC 2023. Besides this, HUAWEI’s spokesperson told Fierce Wireless: “This will be HUAWEI’s largest year” at MWC 2023, where the company plans to take over the Hall 1 of the Fira Gran Via.
ZTE nubia at MWC 2023
ZTE’s Nubia brand will debut some new products, and we anticipate learning more about Neovision Glass. Since these are the company’s first AR smart glasses, we don’t know much about how they work, but Nubia will tell more about them in their big announcement. The company is also releasing a new tablet, The Nubia Pad 3D, that features 3D effects without requiring you to wear any spectacles besides the glasses.
TECNO at MWC 2023

The PHANTOM V Fold has lately made headlines, and what surprises the most is that it can reportedly shut flat, an achievement that its rivals haven’t quite achieved.
Nokia at MWC 2023
Although Nokia has confirmed its participation at MWC 2023, don’t anticipate the company to introduce any new smartphones or smart devices. However, Nokia will take the stage to discuss subjects like 5G and 6G and focus on advancing future technologies.
MediaTek at MWC 2023
MediaTek has confirmed its involvement at MWC 2023, but it is unknown what, if anything, the company will reveal. Since the company announced its Dimensity 9200 flagship SoC at November 2022 conference, it’s unlikely that we will see any MediaTek announcements during the Barcelona event.
Qualcomm at MWC 2023
Mention MediaTek, and we have to mention Qualcomm too. These companies go head-to-head in the smartphone processor platform space. The Qualcomm booth at Mobile World Congress is always quite the sight. We anticipate hearing more about 5G, AR and VR platforms, and other gear that will power the next generation of mobile devices.
