My Hero Academia Manga Goes on Hiatus as It Enters Final Arc, Fans Concerned About Author’s Health
The My Hero Academia manga by author and illustrator Kohei Horikoshi is entering its final arc. However, fans have been experiencing frequent interruptions in the form of breaks and concerns have been raised about the author’s health.
This is because the series will once again go on a one-week break in the subsequent issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. This means that chapter 390 will be released on June 5, while chapter 391 won’t be available until the June 12 issue. Horikoshi himself apologised for the delay and expressed his determination to “push through to the end” for the final arc and the series as a whole.
Many fans have expressed their desire for the series to take a long-term hiatus instead of numerous short breaks. They believe that this would give Horikoshi the necessary time to heal his body and fully develop the story.

Though the fandom should be hyped as the series would reach its climax without any further breaks, many are concerned about Horikoshi’s health and the interruptions caused by these breaks.
tbh i really hope he can just take a break for a while cuz it seems like hes pushing himself too much and its actively hurting him https://t.co/R4HYCMw6QL
