Neo: iQoo Neo 8 series to launch in China on May 23 – Times of India

iQoo Neo 8 series is set to launch in China on May 23. The series will include two models, namely: iQoo Neo 8 and iQoo 8 Pro. While the launch is still a few days away, the company has shared the design of the smartphones, showcasing some minor updates from its predecessor–iQoo Neo 7 series.
iQoo took to Weibo where it shared a video, revealing the design of the upcoming Neo 8 series. The teaser video shows the smartphones carrying a curved rear panel, and the previewed model features a red vegan leather back panel. iQoo Neo 5G has a rectangular module with two circular cutouts, featuring a dual-camera setup accompanied by an LED flash. The camera module text reveals that the Neo 8 will incorporate optical image stabilisation (OIS) support.
iQoo says the Neo 8 Pro will come equipped with the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset, built on a 4nm processor and capable of reaching a 3.35GHz clock speed. In a recent AnTuTu listing, the device earned 1.3 million points in the benchmark. iQoo will integrate Vivo’s V1+ chip to improve its camera, performance, and display capabilities.
iQoo Neo 8 series: Expected specs
According to a report by tipster Yogesh Brar, iQoo Neo 8 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution. The smartphone is expected to debut with 16GB RAM and either 256GB or 512GB storage.
The upcoming smartphone from iQoo will feature a triple-rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary, while the other two sensors have not been disclosed by the company. The camera module will be completed by a 16MP front camera.
iQoo Neo 8 Pro will be backed by a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The smartphone will run Origin OS 3 based on Android 13 operating system.
