Have you ever thought about wanting to remove user/device of your Netflix account and you couldn’t?
Well, that misery is about to end, as the popular streaming platform has announced a new feature, which essentially helps you kick out unwanted devices and users from your account.
The platform announced this measure in its latest press release. The feature is called “Managing Access and Devices” and it will be available on the Account Settings menu, and it essentially helps you keep track of the devices that use your Netflix account.
As seen in the image provided by Netflix, the Managing Access and Devices feature reveals details about every device connected to the account. This includes the time of the last piece of content watched on the device and its location as well.
The company has also confirmed that the feature has begun rolling out to users on Web, iOS, and Android all around the globe.
With this feature, any friend that has access to your Netflix account, will be at risk of being kicked out if they end up on the wrong side. So, make sure to stay clear of any trouble with your friend.
Even with Netflix cracking down on password sharing, Netflix users have continued to join forces in order to use a single account, which helps them save money, especially after the platform raised its prices earlier this year. However, that might change in the near future, with the platform testing out new features such as the “Add a Home” option in countries like Argentina, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Honduras and El Salvador.
