Updated News Around the World

New to Prime Video in February 2023: Halloween Ends, Smile, Somebody I Used to Know, and More

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and Prime Video is celebrating with some wonderful additions to its library in the form of movies and TV shows. Two of the biggest additions aren’t the most love-filled adventures, but horror fans will be delighted to know that Halloween Ends and Smile will both make their way to the streamer later this month.

Some big Prime Video original programming is also on its way, including Christoph Waltz’s The Consultant, a twisted, comedic-thriller that explores the “sinister relationship between boss and employee.” Carnival Row is also returning in February for its second season, and picks up right where Season 1 ended – with Orlando Bloom’s Rycroft Philostrate investigating a string of gruesome murders.

Community’s Alison Brie stars in Somebody I Used to Know on February 10 and that story follows a “workaholic TV producer” who must deal with a major setback and an unplanned trip back to her hometown. Additionally, Forest Whitaker once again suits up as crime boss Bumpy Johnson in Season 3 of Godfather of Harlem.

There will also be a ton of classic films joining Prime Video’s catalog, including I, Robot, 1976’s King Kong, Rambo, Rambo: Last Blood, Seabiscuit, Shrek 1 & 2, Shaft, The Talented Mr. Ripley, and more.

Check out the slideshow gallery below for a spotlight of some of the most notable February 2023 Prime Video releases followed by the full list:
