No OnePlus 11 Pro or OnePlus 11T launch this year, ‘Pro’ variant discontinued permanently

No OnePlus 11 Pro or OnePlus 11T launch this year, ‘Pro’ variant discontinued permanently

The OnePlus 7, OnePlus 8, and OnePlus 9 series, each with a base model and a “Pro” option, were released by OnePlus between 2019 and 2021. The two phones in each series had comparable features and designs, but the “Pro model” frequently had better hardware or additional features. In 2022, the OnePlus 10 Pro was launched without any vanilla model. Later, with a few changes compared to the Pro model, the OnePlus 10R and OnePlus 10T were launched.

Starting with our 2023 lineup, we are streamlining the flagship portfolio in North America (and globally) by removing our Pro lineup. In our opinion, you don’t need to have a ‘Pro’ name for a device that’s already ‘pro.’

OnePlus 11T cancelled

The company has also confirmed to Android Authority that it will not launch the OnePlus 11T this year. The company cited “streamlining the flagship portfolio” as the reason why there isn’t a OnePlus 11T this time.

Meanwhile, this week the company launched several new products in India, including the first OnePlus Pad, OnePlus 11, OnePlus 11R, OnePlus Buds Pro 2 series, OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro, and a lot more during the Cloud 11 event. The price of smartphones is highly competitive. However, the India price of the OnePlus tab has not been revealed yet. The company has also confirmed to unveil the OnePlus 11 Concept phone during the Mobile World Congress 2023.
