Gone are the days when one had to find a Telegram channel link to download pirated/leaked movies and TV shows to watch them for free. After Telegram, Twitter is the new social media platform that is gaining popularity among users to download movies for free.
Recently, many films like Shrek and Evil Dead have been uploaded on the micro-blogging site. In a latest, Keanu Reeves’ John Wick Chapter 4 was available on Twitter for download.
The movie was uploaded by a Twitter user – john wick’s dead wife @ghoulhag on May 24 and was up for about 10 hours on the platform before it was taken down.
“This Tweet from @ghoulhag has been withheld in response to a report from the copyright holder. https://Learn more,” reads the tweet’s page now.
The tweet reportedly garnered over 2.6 million views, over 7900 retweets and more than 50,000 likes. As per reports, the mobile uploaded on Twitter was in high resolution and could easily be downloaded by users on the platform.
Elon Musk-backed Twitter recently introduced a new feature for its Blue subscribers that allows them to upload videos as long as two hours or up to 8GB. Soon after the rollout, multiple movies have been shared by users on the microblogging app. These videos/movies can easily be downloaded by using Twitter Video Downloader website and pasting the tweet’s URL.
Talking about John Wick Chapter 4, the movie was released in theaters on March 24 this year. The film is now slated for its OTT release on June 23. First film under the John Wick debuted in 2014. John Wick Chapter 4 was the final movie to launch under the franchise. Considered to be one of the most iconic action films ever, the movie is directed by Chad Stahelski and has earned around USD 402 million worldwide.
