Nothing Phone 2 India launch tipped alongside model number, key specifications

Meanwhile, tipster Mukul Sharma has also hinted at the smartphone’s India launch and has spotted the Nothing NT02 battery. For reference, Nothing NT01 was the battery used in the Nothing Phone (1), so it is expected that the Nothing NT02 battery could be the Nothing Phone (2) battery.

Nothing Phone (2) India launch timeline

The Nothing Phone (1) was launched in July 2022 in India. However, the report states that the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) will be launched in the third quarter of 2023 worldwide,  which is likely to include India as well. However, the exact launch date of the Nothing Phone (2) is still unknown.

The MSP report said the upcoming smartphone has the model number “A065”. It also noted that the Nothing Phone (2) is expected to feature an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. As per the report, the adaptive display of the upcoming smartphone will refresh automatically as per the content. The Nothing Phone (2) is also expected to be powered by an unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chipset, which will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The Nothing Phone (2) will likely house a 5,000mAh battery.

Nothing CEO Carl Pei recently hinted that the US would be among the first markets to receive the smartphone. He stated that it would be “more premium” than its predecessor, with software being a major focus.
