Ola Electric claims the Ola S1 Air electric scooter received 3,000 bookings in the first three hours after the pre-booking window went live yesterday, July 27th, 2023. The announcements were made by CEO Bhavish Aggarwal. The much-awaited Ola S1 Air was first announced back in October 2022.

Ola S1 Air specifications, features

The new Ola S1 Air looks exactly the same as its elder siblings: Ola S1 and S1 Pro. However, it could see minor alterations depending on the tests that are conducted. The two-wheeler will be powered by a 4.5kW motor, which is rated to offer a top speed of 85Kmph. The 2kWh variant will deliver a range of 85 km on a single charge, whereas the 3kWh and 4kWh variants are said to have a range of 125 km and 165 km between charges.

Other key features include a flat floorboard, 34L under-seat storage, LED lighting, and a digital dashboard. The Ola S1 Air will be available in five shades, namely Coral Glam, Neo Mint, Jet Black, Porcelain White, and Liquid Silver. Customers who have booked the 2.5kWh variant will be upgraded to the 3kWh variant for no additional cost.
