OlyBet Becomes Official Betting Operator of DP World Tour
OlyBet has become the official betting operator of the DP World Tour in a two-year collaboration.
The deal covers Europe, with the exception of the UK and Ireland, as the betting company aims to bring “more unique golf moments” to sports fans via access to the men’s professional golf tour.
Corey Plummer, Chairman and CEO of Olympic Entertainment Group and OlyBet Holdings, said: “We are excited and privileged to announce a new European partnership between OlyBet and the DP World Tour.
“OlyBet will bring to sports fans more of the excitement and thrill of the moments that are so unique to golf and the world-class players filling DP World Tour tournaments.
“Sports fans can follow the world of professional golf online through OlyBet and OlyBet TV and in person through any one of our 150 casinos or any one of our 90 sports bars where they can eat, play, and watch golf.”
Olybet – a subsidiary of Olympic Entertainment Group AS – bolsters its golfing presence with the competition carrying a minimum of 39 tournaments across 26 countries this season.
Last week, the company also joined the roster of key partners that will sponsor EuroLeague Basketball’s “Final Four” tournament – the marquee finale of the European basketball season.
Taking place over the weekend of 19–21 May, the tournament will be played in Kaunas for the first time which underlines the operator’s commitment to supporting sports in the Baltic markets of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
Max Hamilton, Consumer and Commercial Director of the DP World Tour, said: “We’re delighted to welcome OlyBet to our partnership community.
“As a market leader in the gaming industry across the region, they have aspirations to expand their reach through partnerships with major sports leagues and teams. At the DP World Tour, we look forward to developing with OlyBet a strong platform to further our fan engagement across Europe.”
