ONE Fight Night 11 live results: Superbon returns, two title bouts
ONE Championship is back in action on Saturday morning, returning to Bangkok’s famed Lumpinee Stadium for another stacked card.
Two title bouts will headline ONE Fight Night 11 in Thailand, with Regian Eersel up in the main event as he defends his lightweight Muay Thai title against Russian newcomer Dmitry Menshikov.
The co-main event sees lightweight submission grappling king Kade Ruotolo put his title on the line against Norwegian challenger Tommy Langaker.
But perhaps the most interesting bout for fans inside the arena – and those watching at home, with the event to be broadcast on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service in the US – is the return of Superbon Singha Mawynn.
The former featherweight kickboxing king is back after surrendering his title in January, taking on Tayfun Ozcan in what has become something of a grudge match.
The 32-year-old Thai came close to missing weight before making it with five seconds to go on a dramatic night at the official weigh-ins and hydration tests, as he looks to rebound from his loss to Chingiz Allazov on home soil.
A title shot is likely to await the winner, with big implications for other divisions spread across Saturday morning’s card.
