OnePlus 12 hands-on video leaked ahead of launch; battery and charging details officially confirmed

  • The leaked 5-second video of the OnePlus 12 hands-on image shows the front and rear design.
  • On the front, you see curved edges and narrow bezels to accommodate more content on the screen. There is also a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter. 
  • The OnePlus 12 has a large circular module on the back and this houses triple camera sensors and an LED flash. There is Hasselblad branding engraved.
  • The alleged hands-on video shows the phone in White colour but there will be other options at launch.
  • The frame of the phone appears to be made of metal for durability.

The latest teaser images confirm the OnePlus 12 will pack a 5,400mAh battery, 100W fast charging support, and 50W wireless charging support. The handset will come with an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance.

  • RAM and Storage: OnePlus 12 is tipped to pack up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. The storage might not be further expandable.
  • Battery: The handset could come with a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
  • Processor: The handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with Adreno GPU.
  • Cameras: The OnePlus 12 will feature a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle Sony IMX581 sensor, and a 64MP periscope-telephoto lens. There could be a 32MP shooter on the front.
  • Display: The OnePlus 12 is expected to come with a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO BOE X1 OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,160Hz PWM Dimming, 4500nits peak brightness, and BOE single-pixel calibrating technology. 
  • OS: The phone runs on Android 14-based OxygenOS custom skin out of the box.
  • Connectivity: 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth V5.3, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
