The second teaser video shared by the company also says that the upcoming OnePlus Buds Z2 is also coming soon, probably launching alongside the smartphone. The TWS earphones are currently only available in China, the USA, and some regions of Europe.

OnePlus 9RT specifications

The OnePlus 9RT has a 6.62-inch Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 1300nits brightness, and HDR10+ support. The display panel also has Corning Gorilla Glass protection and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.

The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core SoC manufactured on a 5nm technology. The Snapdragon 888 has an Adreno 660 GPU built-in. Up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 storage is available on the device.

The smartphone’s Chinese version runs Android 12. However, the smartphone was discovered on the Google Play Supported Devices list with Android 11, so it’s unclear if the OnePlus 9RT will ship with Android 11 or Android 12 in India. A 4,500mAh battery powers the OnePlus smartphone, which offers 65W Warp Charge 65 rapid charging.

In terms of optics, the 9RT has a triple rear camera configuration with an LED flash. A 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor serves as the device’s primary camera.
