OnePlus confirms to offer four years of Android updates, 5 years of security updates for OnePlus 11 – Times of India

OnePlus has scheduled its Cloud 11 launch event on February 7 where it will launch its much-teased flagship smartphone — OnePlus 11 in India. The company launched the same smartphone in China earlier this year. Just days ahead of the official launch, the Chinese smartphone maker has announced an important update about the upcoming smartphone.
OnePlus took to Twitter to confirm that the yet-to-launch OnePlus smartphone will receive 4 years of Android update and 5 years of security updates.

OnePlus 11 other confirmed specifications
The company further revealed that the display on the OnePlus 11 will come with 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will also come with Dolby Vision support. The flagship smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Along with this, the smartphone maker has also revealed that the OnePlus 11 will pack 16GB of RAM.
Along with the OnePlus 11 the company will also launch the OnePlus Buds 2 Pro. The upcoming TWS earbuds will also have a Focus Mode with multiple white noise varieties too.

The earbuds will also come with 54ms latency for an enhanced gaming experience.
The company further added that with the launch of the OnePlus 11 it will bring back its much-loved alert slider button. Along with this, the smartphone will have the same Hasselblad powered camera.
OnePlus 11 camera details
OnePlus took to Weibo to unveil the camera details of OnePlus 11. The company has revealed that OnePlus 11 will house a 50MP main camera with Sony IMX890 sensor. There’s also a 48MP ultrawide camera with Sony IMX581 sensor which will enable the lens to capture macro shots. The camera also has a 2x telephoto lens which uses the Sony IMX709 sensor which has an RGBW arrangement which will increase the amount of light it will capture. The company claims that the users will be able to capture professional looking portraits with the help of the telephoto lens.
