OnePlus may launch Nord2 before September 30 – Times of India

BBK-owned consumer electronics brand OnePlus last year introduced a new smartphone series called Nord. In India, the company launched only one handset — called the OnePlus Nord — in July last year, while it launched more than one model in the Nord series for other markets.
Now, the OnePlus Nord series is almost due for an upgrade and the company has prematurely even confirmed the upcoming Nord2 name.
According to a report by Android Police, the company — for a brief period of time — on its website’s FAQ section showed the OnePlus Nord2 name in a promotion, along with several other OnePlus handsets that are official.

The promotion is of a new Stadia Premiere Edition running in the UK, Germany, and France right now and will go on till September 30, implying that the successor to the OnePlus Nord may launch before this date.
The company has so far remained tight-lipped about the launch of an upcoming OnePlus Nord2, but we do expect the brand to start with the fanfare soon.
Earlier this month, tipster Max Jambor posted on Twitter an image that just said, “Nord CE 5G.” With this image, he has shared a text “Nord N1 5G” that is stricken out. Due to this, online reports suggested that the successor of the OnePlus Nord N10 5G may be called the OnePlus Nord CE 5G, which was previously being tipped to be called the OnePlus Nord N1 5G.
Incidentally, the OnePlus Nord N1 5G was even spotted on the BIS listing, leading to speculation that this year OnePlus may launch this device in the country.
