oneplus nord 2: OnePlus Nord 2 will feature 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, company reveals – Times of India

OnePlus Nord 2 is set to go official in India and Europe on July 22. Ahead of the launch, OnePlus has confirmed that the phone will offer a 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Sharing a post on microblogging site Twitter, the company said that the smartphone’s display will be HDR10+ certified.
“Nord 2 comes with a 6.43 inch 90 Hz Fluid AMOLED display that swipes so smooth you’ll think your fingers are dancing ballet. And it’s HDR 10+ certified,” reads the latest tweet shared by OnePlus India.

OnePlus has previously confirmed that the handset will come powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI chipset. This will make it OnePlus’s first phone to come with a MediaTek processor. Till now, all OnePlus phones are equipped with Qualcomm processors.
Amazon has created a microsite for he OnePlus Nord 2, suggesting the phone’s availability in the country via the e-tailer’s site.
OnePlus has confirmed that the upcoming phone will come with major camera improvements. It will offer AI Photo Enhancement for still photography. OnePlus Nord 2 will come with the ability to recognise up to 22 different photography scenarios and automatically adjust the colour tones.
It will feature an AI Video Enhancement feature for videos. This will enable live HDR effects in real-time during recording. For gamers, the smartphone is expected to come with features like low latency, improved heat management and efficient power consumption.
