OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite starts receiving Android 13 update: How to update and more – Times of India

Among Android manufacturers, OnePlus is currently one of the most focused when it comes to pushing the latest Android updates. The company has already committed to offering up to four years of OS updates and five years of security updates to its flagship smartphones and it has also intended to bring the latest updates to its mid-range phones as well. Following the commitment, the company has started rolling out the Android 13 update based on Oxygen OS 13 to the OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite smartphone.
OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite is the first smartphone of the Nord series to receive an Android 13 update. The company has already updated its OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 9 series phones to Android 13.
Android Police has reported that some OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite users have started reporting that they’ve started receiving notifications about the Android 13 update. The update carries a download size of about 4.5GB and it also includes the December 2022 security patch as well.
Also, as per the report, the Android 13 rollout for OnePlus Nord CE2 Lite is only happening in India and there’s no information available on when OnePlus will roll out the update in other regions.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is receiving the update as OTA and users will receive the notification once it’s available for their phone.
If you’ve received the notification, then tap on the notification and hit the ‘Download’ option. In case you’ve not received the notification. Head to Settings, then tap on System and tap on Software Update.
Check for the update. If the update is available, download and install it.
Just make sure that your phone has enough charge and storage space available. Also, take a complete backup before proceeding with the update process.
