OnePlus Pad durability test video shows the tablet’s tougher than it looks

• The OnePlus Pad along with its Stylo was put to test by JerryRigEverything to see how durable it actually is, and the results were not bad. Starting with the screen scratching test, the OnePlus Pad started showing scratches at level six and more visible ones (deeper grooves) at level seven.
• Next is the screen burning which the OnePlus Pad survived for around 10 seconds until it started reacting to the flame. But the screen was back to normal in no time. The OnePlus Pad has an 11.6-inch 2.8K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 2.5D curved glass layered on top.

• The OnePlus Pad comes in a metal body with metal buttons as well. During the bend test, the tablet managed to hold out really well as there was only a small bend, and even then the display stayed intact. It did pop out but the damage wasn’t very bad and the tablet worked normally.
• The OnePlus Stylo however, did not survive the durability test as the plastic body easily broke into half. Upon opening the stylus pen, it was also found that the OnePlus Stylo has a lithium battery instead of a capacitor that the Samsung S-Pen uses.

The OnePlus Pad draws inspiration from the Apple iPad and it’s clearly visible on the design and the stylus pen which also looks like the Apple Pencil that snaps on to the tablet. The comparison was also made in this durability test where the OnePlus Pad did fairly better than its Apple counterpart.
