OnePlus shares OxygenOS 13 teaser – Times of India
Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus has shared a short teaser for the upcoming OxygenOS 13 on its Twitter handle. The text accompanying the teaser says:“It’s bold, it’s fluid, it’s coming soon”. The teaser gives a glimpse of the possible changes to the lock-screen and the always-on-display in the UI, with the latter shown supporting a music player. There are media controls showcased and also, the cover art of the song being played. We can also expect improvements to the UI, with more personalisation options.
The Canvas AOD feature which has been there with the older models also can be seen. Perhaps OnePlus will add more colour options to add more variety. Lastly, there is the Insight AOD which showcases the date, time, the phone usage etc.

The company had held an online open discussion with 16 participants of its user fanbase a few months back, where it wanted to know the views and expectations of the participants regarding OxygenOS 13. The company has previously said that the next iteration of OxygenOS would offer a fast and smooth user experience with some exclusive customisation features, and it will be based on Android 13.
The OxygenOS 13 will arrive with the OnePlus 10T on August 3. Further, OnePlus confirmed that it would host an in-person event in New York for the first time since the breakout of the coronavirus pandemic.
OnePlus has been following a trend of releasing two flagships every year since the OnePlus 3T. However, it did not release one last year. The second flagship of the year comes with minor upgrades, and this year’s OnePlus 10T is confirmed to come with the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
