OnePlus smartphone users can now use Jio True 5G – Times of India
OnePlus has announced its partnership with Reliance Jio. As part of this association, all the OnePlus 5G devices will be powered by Jio True 5G technology.
The Chinese smartphone maker has announced that the OnePlus smartphones can access the Jio True 5G on their devices starting this month. The OnePlus 10 Series, OnePlus 9R, and OnePlus 8 Series as well as the Nord, Nord 2T, Nord 2, Nord CE, Nord CE 2 and Nord CE 2 Lite users can enjoy 5G network and speed on their smartphones.
The company also added further that soon the OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9RT will be able to access the 5G network on their devices soon. OnePlus also mentioned that it has been actively working with Reliance Jio to make 5G technology accessible to Indian consumers.

Speaking about the collaboration Navnit Nakra, OnePlus India CEO and Head of India region, shared, “We are delighted to be partnering with the Jio team to bring in 5G technology to our community in India. OnePlus launched the first line-up of 5G smartphones in 2020 in India, with the OnePlus 8 series in April 2020. Since then, all our smartphones are 5G-ready.”
Cashback benefits for OnePlus customers
OnePlus has also announced that consumers can avail of cashback benefits worth Rs 10,800 during the OnePlus anniversary sale period from December 13 – December 18. The first 1,000 beneficiaries will additionally receive complimentary Red Cable Care plans worth Rs 1,499 and the Jio Saavn Pro plan worth Rs 399.
