OnePlus, the BBK-owned consumer electronics brand, is set to expand its smart TV lineup in India next week.
The company is set to launch a new smart TV in its Y-seres line-up on May 24. The launch is set to take place on May 24.
On its website, the company has revealed that the device will be called OnePlus TV 40Y1, implying that it will offer a screen size of 40-inch.
The website also reveals some key specs about the upcoming OnePlus TV and confirms that it comes powered by a 64-bit processor and runs on Android TV 9-based OxygenPlay. The 40-inch screen offers a fullHD display resolution and comes with a 93%coverage of DCI-P3 colour gamut and Gamma Engine picture enhancer.
Buyers will get a built-in Chromecast, as well as Alexa and Google Assistant. Offering two 20W speakers with Dolby Audio support, the smart TV from OnePlus comes with one Ethernet port, RF connection input, two HDMI ports, one AV In, one digital audio output, and two USB ports.
OnePlus also tweeted about the same through its official Twitter account through a picture that revealed that the OnePlus TV 40Y1 will be available via OnePlus Stores offline and through OnePlus.in and Flipkart.com.

To recall, the Y-series of Android TVs from OnePlus are an affordable range of smart TVs. The company sells two models in the series right now — OnePlus TV 32Y1 and OnePlus TV 43Y1 — which are priced at Rs 15,999 and Rs 26,999 respectively.
