Oppo A55 receives a price cut in India: New price and other details – Times of India

Oppo has reportedly slashed the price of its mid-range Oppo A55 smartphone. According to Mumbai-based telecom operator Mahesh Telecom, the Chinese smartphone maker has slashed the price of the last year launched Oppo A55. The smartphone comes in two variants and both of them have got a price cut.

Launched in October 2021, Oppo A55 comes in two variants — 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB priced at Rs 15,490 and Rs 17,490 respectively. After the price drop, the customers can purchase the 4GB variant at Rs 14,499 and the 6GB version at Rs 14,999. The smartphone comes in two colour options — Starry Black and Rainbow Blue.

The Oppo A55 5G smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixel resolution. The smartphone offers an 88.7 screen-to-body ratio and 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own ColorOS 11 layer of customisation.

The Oppo A55 5G smartphone offers dual SIM functionality and it comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. The device packs 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.
The Oppo A55 5G sports a triple rear camera setup with 13MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP portrait camera with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera includes Night Scene, time-lapse, slow motion and more. The smartphone also offers support for 10x digital zoom. The device sports an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The Oppo A55 5G is backed by a 5000mAh battery and offers Bluetooth, 5G, WiFi and USB Type C as connectivity options.
