OPPO F21 Pro India price, launch date, specs, and everything we know so far

Rumours have it that both the 4G and 5G models of the OPPO F21 Pro series will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. They will have 33W fast charging support as well.

OPPO F21 Pro design

OPPO F21 Pro design has been officially teased by the company. It has a boxy design with flat edges, similar to the latest iPhones and a back panel that has a leather finish. It has the industry-first Fiberglass leather back panel that is claimed to make the phone thinner and lighter, yet more durable. The company says it took two years for its engineers to refine the lychee grain leather for the base material due to its “plush” feel. The leather material is said to be waterproof and is resistant to wear and tear. 

The handset has triple cameras on the back, arranged in a rectangular model. The power button is on the right, while the volume rockers could be on the left edge. It is expected to come in Orange, Rainbow Spectrum and Cosmic Black colour options. The USB Type-C port, speaker grille, primary microphone and a 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom. 

OPPO F21 Pro launch date and time

OPPO F21 Pro launch date in India is April 12th and it will be an online-only event that will be live-streamed via the company’s YouTube channel from 5 PM IST.

OPPO F21 Pro price in India (expected)

OPPO F21 Pro 4G price in India is said to be Rs 21,990 for the 8GB/128GB storage model, while the 5G model is said to cost Rs 25,990 for the 8GB/128GB model. 

Ahead of the launch, the OPPO F21 Pro is up for pre-order via offline stores until April 15th. It is offering a 10 percent cashback via a majority of banks including HDFC, Standard Charted, ICICI and more and no-cost EMI for up to six months. There are other offers like an upgrade bonus and free screen replacement. The handset’s first sale will be live between April 15th and 20th.

OPPO F21 Pro specifications

Some of the OPPO F21 Pro specifications have been teased by the company. The handset will come with triple cameras on the back, comprising two large cutouts and a regular-sized lens. The secondary lens seems to have a ring that will have LED light. The primary sensor is a 64MP unit, which could be aided by an ultra-wide-angle lens and a microlens sensor. The phone could have an in-display or side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

The OPPO F21 Pro 4G is said to come with a 32MP RGBW (red, blue, green, white) Sony IMX709 selfie snapper on the front for selfies and video chats, while the 5G version may get a 16MP shooter. The handset will pack a 4,500mAh battery with support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging.

While it isn’t confirmed, the OPPO F21 Pro 4G model is said to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, while the 5G version may come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. The phone will pack up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that may be expandable. It may come with up to 5GB of extendable RAM support. Recent reports have claimed it would come with a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that may have a 90Hz refresh rate at least.
