Oppo F21 Pro starts receiving stable Android 13-based ColorOS 13 update – Times of India

Oppo launched the F21 Pro smartphone earlier this year. The smartphone has now started receiving the new software that comes with Android 13 topped with the company’s own layer of ColorOS 13. The company introduced the beta version of the update in September and now it has rolled out the stable version of its previous iteration.

The Android 13 update is currently available for Oppo F21 Pro users residing in India and Indonesia.

Oppo’s ColorOS 13 comes with a revamped colour palette that keeps changing its shades throughout the day, new and improved fonts and a Dynamic Computing Engine that claims to improve the battery life of the smartphone. The update also integrates with third-party apps and improves the always-on display with new styles.

As per a post on Oppo’s community page, the Oppo F21 Pro update comes with version number C.31. The OTA update will be rolled out in a phased manner.
Here’s how to download the latest OTA update:
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Go to About device.
3. Check whether the phone has received the update or not.
Oppo F21 Pro: Specifications
Oppo F21 Pro features a 6.43-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution. The phone comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM. The device packs 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card.
The mid-range smartphone comes with hybrid dual SIM support and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Oppo F21 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup which comprises a 64 MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture, LED flash, 2MP Monochrome and 2MP macro cameras with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
The smartphone is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 33W charging support.
