oppo foldable phone: Oppo could unveil its first foldable phone next week – Times of India

Oppo is going to celebrate its annual Inno Days next week and the brand could make some major gadgets and other tech-related announcements on the day. Some of the expected announcements include its flagship phone and the much talked out phone prototype with a retractable camera. While the former is expected to launch on day 2 on the event, the latter is rumoured to be unveiled on day 1 itself.
Rumours about the company’s first foldable phone have been doing the rounds for some days, with no indication or teases by the company regarding the same. It is a hush hush affair from the side of Oppo, but after several reports, we expect the company to make a surprise announcement during the Inno Day celebrations on December 14-15.
As per the latest leak, the Chinese smartphone maker could launch the smartphone by the end of this year, while a report by Myfixguide claims that the launch is imminent and Oppo could unveil its first foldable smartphone on December 14 itself. The report also added that the foldable smartphone from Oppo has received MIIT certification and has a model number of PEUM00. As per the The MIIT certification, the phone could be named as “Oppo Find N”.
Expected features include a 2K 8-inch tablet-sized AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The report claims that the phone will feature an inward folding design as seen on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and the Huawei Mate X2. The Oppo Find N could have a slightly curved cover display at the edges and a centered punch hole camera. The inner folding canvas is said to have a refresh rate of 120Hz and a punch hole at the top left corner. The phone could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The device could feature a 50MP rear camera and a 32MP selfie shooter. The device is expected to be backed by a 4500mAh battery with a 65 watt fast-charging support.
