Oppo Reno 8 series confirmed to launch in India on July 18 – Times of India

After many teasers and two months after its debut in China, Oppo is bringing the Reno 8 series to India this month. The launch for the Reno 8 series is scheduled for July 18 at 6:00 PM IST. The company will launch two smartphones in the Reno 8 series – Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro – in India.
Oppo will be launching two smartphones in the Reno 8 series in India – the vanilla Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro. The Reno 8 launching in India is said to be the same as the one launched in China; however, from the teasers and rumours Reno 8 Pro Indian variant seems to be a rebranded Reno 8 Pro+.

The Reno 8 might feature a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the hood, it would be powered by the Dimensity 1300 chipset. The Reno 8 would come with a triple camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor. The smartphone could come with a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
Oppo’s Reno 8 Pro coming to India is expected to be a rebadged Reno 8 Pro+, launched in China a few months ago. So, we can expect the Indian variant of the Reno 8 Pro to have similar specifications as the Reno 8 Pro+. We can expect it to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Furthermore, the smartphone might be powered by the Dimensity 8100-Max chipset. Further, it would also have the MariSilicon X NPU. The smartphone will come with a triple camera setup comprising of a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera.
