OPPO Reno9 series camera samples teased: launch date, specifications

The camera samples shared by OPPO seem to have saturated colours, which should appeal to regular audiences and be socially shareable as well. The nighttime image catches the attention, thanks to less noise and rich details.

The camera samples shared by the brand don’t actually reveal any hardware specifications of the phones but luckily recent leaks have spilt some beans about the phones.

OPPO Reno 9 series specifications (tipped) 

OPPO Reno 9: The OPPO Reno 9 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC paired with 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB storage options. The device packs a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging support and is likely to boot Android 12 OS out of the box. Moving to optics, the phone is rumoured to come with dual cameras on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. The Reno 9 will be available in three colours: Tomorrow Gold, Black, and Slightly Drunk.

OPPO Reno 9 Pro: The Reno 9 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC paired with 16GB/256GB storage and 16GB/512GB storage. Moving to optics, the Pro version will get a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary shooter and an 8MP secondary lens. The device packs a 4,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. The handset will be available in the same colours as the standard version.

Reno 9 Pro+: Lastly, the Reno 9 Pro will get the mighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 SoC, which will be paired with 16GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB RAM and storage configurations. The device is likely to boot Android 13-based ColorOS out of the box. The phone will get a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging support and come in Tomorrow Gold, Black, and Blue colours.

Moving to optics, the Reno 9 Pro+ will get triple cameras, with a 50MP primary Sony IMX890 snapper with OIS, an 8MP secondary lens, and a 2MP sensor. All three models are expected to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
