Oshi no Ko fans will have to wait a little longer for Episode 8 to air. Studio Doga Kobo, the production studio behind the show, has announced a delay in the episode’s release. Instead of a new episode, a special episode is set to air on May 31, 2023.
Episode 8, which was supposed to air on Wednesday next week, will instead see a recap episode which will look back at the events of episodes 1 to 7. It will also feature interviews from the voice actors of Aqua and Ruby Hoshino.
It has also been announced that Oshi no Ko Episode 8 will instead air on the next Wednesday on June 7.
Here is the notice posted on Oshi no Ko’s website:
“On May 31st (Wednesday), we will be airing the special program where we look back at episodes 1 to 7 of the TV anime Oshi no Ko, alongside interviews with Takeo Otsuka, the voice actor for Aquamarine “Aqua” Hoshino, and Yurie Igoma, the voice actor for Ruby Hoshino. By watching this retrospective special, you’ll definitely be able to support Oshi no Ko even more! So, be sure to tune in and get ready for the upcoming developments from Episode 8 onwards.
Oshi no Ko Episode 8 is scheduled to be broadcast and streamed starting from June 7th (Wednesday).”
Oshi no Ko is available to stream on Netflix and Ani-One Asia in India. It is also available on on Prime Video, CatchPlay+, Disney+, HIDIVE, and iQIYI in other regions.
