Pioneer Hi-Res Special Edition car component speakers: Features
The TS-VR170C leads the 2021 Hi-Res Special Edition Speaker lineup from the company. The speaker is based on Pioneer’s Flagship Sound consent which claims to deliver realistic audio experience.
The TS-VR170C comes with 25mm ‘Dual Arc Ring’ aluminum diaphragm tweeters that claims to reproduce a wide range of high frequencies, up to 65kHz. The diaphragm is then paired with tweeter’s voice coil, aluminum equaliser, and a powerful neodymium magnet to minimise distortion and better sound output.
The TS-VR170C also comes with a dual-layer carbon fiber cone woofer for deep and clear bass output.
TS-V170C is based on the company’s Z series speakers with an open & smooth sound concept. It comes with well-tuned aluminum tweeter diaphragm that is rated to produce up to 64kHz response.
The woofer in the speaker is a dual-layer Aramid Fibre unit with high-strength centre cap, large strontium magnet, and aluminum diecast basket responsible for producing low and mid range frequencies.
The TS-J170C, on the other hand, is also based on ‘Open & Smooth’ concept and it uses a mix of tried-and-tested designs and innovative technologies to bring dynamic, ‘live’ sound to drivers everywhere.
The TS-J170 comes with poly-imide balanced dome tweeter design that claims to produce clear high-frequency response of up to 58kHz, the woofer’s a Injection Molding Carbonized Cone (IMCC) unit to create strong, dynamic, and immersive low-to-mid frequencies.
