pixel: Google Pixel 6a complete spec sheet leaked online: What to expect – Times of India

The rumour mill surrounding the upcoming Google Pixel 6a smartphone has been pretty active lately. The device is part of the tech giant’s latest Pixel 6 series and is confirmed to launch in India. Recently, a full unboxing and hands-on video of the upcoming handset was leaked online that even included a side-by-side comparison with the Pixel 6 Pro. According to GSMArena, another tipster has posted the complete spec sheet of the Google Pixel 6a on Twitter. The report also mentions that the newly revealed spec sheets corroborate with most of the speculations that were made earlier. The affordable Pixel 6a is expected to be powered by the Google Tensor chipset and will be available for pre-order from July 21 for $449 in the US. The smartphone is likely to come in three different colour options — White, Black and Green (or Sage).

The leaked spec sheet reveals that the Pixel 6a is expected to sport a 6.1-inch OLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, HDR support and an in-display scanner. The smartphone will be powered by the Google Tensor chipset and a Titan M2 security co-processor, backed with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
Pixel 6a is speculated to feature a triple rear camera setup that might house — two 12.2MP Pixel wide cameras and another 12MP ultra-wide lens. The handset’s display will also include an 8MP front snapper for selfies and video calls. The smartphone might also support 4K video recording at up to 60fps.
The upcoming device is expected to pack a 4306mAh battery unit that will support fast charging. Google claims that the smartphone will offer a battery life of up to 24 hours and with the Extreme Battery Saver mode, it can go on for up to 72 hours, suggests the leaked specs sheet.
As per the leaked specs sheet, the Google Pixel 6a is also expected to have a stereo speaker and a dual microphone set up along with 5 years of security update support from the company.
