Playoff DraftKings Picks: NFL DFS lineup advice for Bills-Chiefs Divisional Round Showdown tournaments
The stars will be out during Sunday night’s divisional round finale when the Bills take on the Chiefs in Kansas City. Our DraftKings Showdown lineup fits in both quarterbacks, but in order to do that, we’re forced to find some value sleepers and fade some big-name stars. Single-game playoff lineups are always difficult to put together, but we think we have a contender below.
Here are the important settings for DraftKings single-game contests: It’s full-point PPR, and there are three-point bonuses for 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards, and 100 receiving yards. The Captain pick costs 1.5 times a player’s original price, but he also gets his point total multiplied by 1.5.

DraftKings Showdown Picks: Bills vs. Chiefs
$50,000 budget, need at least one player from each team.
Captain: (1.5x salary, 1.5x points): WR Gabriel Davis, Bills ($7,800)
Davis has been hot down the stretch for Buffalo, scoring five TDs in the past six games and seeing at least seven targets on three occasions. He’s Buffalo’s best big-play receiver, so we’re hoping he can hit on at least one deep shot and get his usual collection of red-zone looks. He’s not the safest “Captain” pick, but he provides the most potential bang for the buck.
FULL-SLATE LINEUPS: FanDuel | DraftKings
FLEX: QB Josh Allen, Bills ($12,000)
You’re not going to find many safer plays than Allen. Even when he has a rare bad passing game like he did in Week 17 against Atlanta (120 yards, no TDs, three TDs), he picks up the slack on the ground (81 rushing yards, two TDs). After shredding the vaunted Patriots defense last week, Allen should have no problem putting up stats against Kansas City’s stellar, turnover-minded defensive unit. Allen might have a turnover or two, but it’s not crazy to think he can put up numbers similar to what he did against KC in Week 5 (315 passing yards, 59 rushing yards, four total TDs).
FLEX: QB Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs ($11,200)
Mahomes has caught fire at the right time, and even though Buffalo has impressive defensive numbers, we all know Mahomes can go off against anyone. It’s not easy fitting both him and Allen into a lineup, but it feels like a must given the upside of both QBs.
DRAFTKINGS LINEUPS: CIN-TEN | SF-GB | LAR-TB
FLEX: RB Devin Singletary, Bills ($8,800)
Singletary has taken over as Buffalo’s unquestioned No. 1 RB, averaging 18.4 carries over the past five games. He’s also scored eight TDs in that span, so he’s sure to be a popular pick. Kansas City has a decent run defense, so perhaps it makes sense to fade Singletary, but he’s too involved as a runner and receiver to completely ignore at this relatively affordable price.
FLEX: WR Mecole Hardman, Chiefs ($4,800)
Hardman is a big-play guy who usually gets a decent amount of opportunities in Kansas City’s creative offense. You could really flip a coin among the Chiefs’ secondary players, but we’re hoping the Bills try to take away Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, leaving someone like Hardman to pick up the slack.
FANDUEL LINEUPS: CIN-TEN | SF-GB | LAR-TB | BUF-KC
FLEX: K Harrison Butker, Chiefs, ($4,200)
Regardless of how well Buffalo’s defense plays, Kansas City will certainly move the ball a fair amount. Butker’s field-goal attempts have been disappointing this year, but we still like his floor at this price.
