Sony and Apple have once again come together to offer a free Apple TV+ subscription to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 users. The free trial offer will be applicable for both existing PS4 and PS5 users as well as new customers.
Sony Apple TV+ free trial: Offer details
According to the company’s official website, PlayStation 5 users (both existing and new) will get 6 months of Apple TV+ trial benefits. PlayStation 4 customers ( both new and existing) will get three months of free trial for Apple TV+.
Till when the offer is valid
Sony PlayStation’s official offer page clearly mentions that the offer is available between now and July 31. This means users can redeem this free trial offer for Apple TV+ till the end of this month.
What if I already have an Apple TV+ subscription
The FAQ section on the page mentions that even if users have an active Apple TV+ subscription they can redeem this offer. However, if they’ve acquired the Apple TV+ subscription through a bundle deal like Apple One, then they can’t redeem this offer.
Can this free trial be available via PC or mobile?
As per the website, the free trial offer is only applicable when redeem via PlayStation’s Media Home. This means players need to have either PS5 or PS4 to avail of this benefit.
How many times can this free trial be available
The offer is applicable once per PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles. Also, the subscription is limited to one user only.
